On 11-26 at 4 PM My wife and I walked into the Credit union, with a problem and stressed out.
We needed to remove my name from our vehicle loans and have them put into my wife’s name before we could close on a new house 12-5.
I felt bad walking into the credit union an hour and a half before they closed for thanksgiving weekend. I know from past experiences that the day before a long weekend, the last thing you want to deal with is a lot of work in a little amount of time.
I told Lydia from the point we sat down that I was sorry for coming in at the last minute with this problem but I needed to have a resolution secured before the long weekend or I wouldn’t be able to relax.
Lydia did a great job making us feel as if it wasn’t an issue and that she was happy to help us. During the whole process she continued to work hard and diligently while comforting us to ensure we didn’t feel like an inconvenience or a hindrance.
Lydia was extremely professional and concise with her questions and needs for documentations in an effort to get the approvals secure and have the ball rolling on the 2 vehicle refinances.
She worked consistently up until the point where she had everything she needed from us to complete the loans without having to inconvenience us with a trip back to the credit union.
The 530 closing time wasn’t a deadline for her, it was more of a goal to get us home for our holiday with the comfort that our problem was going to be taken care of.
We left the credit union shortly before 530 with a ton of weight off our chest and feeling satisfied with the customer service we had received.
I feel people leave reviews for two reasons, because the service was so horrible they wanted to prevent other people from dealing with it, or because the service was so exceptional that they had to make sure the person received recognition.
I am glad to say I’m writing this review for the latter reason, and feel Lydia deserves recognition for the customer experience that she provided my wife and I on a last minute appt on a holiday weekend.
The customer service didn’t stop there, first thing Monday morning she called my wife to let her know she was working on getting our loans completed, and continued to reach out to reassure us as she completed the steps and was sending documentation for us.
She quickly completed the loans Monday and got us all the documentation we needed to provide my lending agent so we can close on Friday 12-5. Lydia’s customer service confirmed my faith in our credit union and I look forward to working with her for any other loan or banking needs in the future.
Please let her know that she is a valuable asset and is greatly appreciated for her efforts.
